How to configure tor browser in linux.

Tor browser is an important tool if you want to hide you self on  network or traffic monitoring/analysis. Tor is a free  software that helps you in defending  against such cases.Enjoy you freedom and privacy with tor.

Here is step by step guide to configure tor with Linux.

Step 01:

Go to  and copy the 64bit  tor browser link for linux

Step 02:

Open linux terminal and run the wget command with link location of tor browser

Tor browser downloaded completely

Step 04:

Run the tar xpvf command on terminal to unzip the downloaded tor browser

Step 05:

After unzip tor browser folder first run the cd change directory command to open tor browser folder file and then run the ./start command to run the tor browser file and after then click on “connect” to start the tor browser

Step 06

Open “Home/linux123/torr-browser_en-US/Browser/TorBrowser/Data/Torrc” and add following instructions as mentioned in figure7 to specify your entry and exit node on your network relay. After adding instructios save torrc file and run again tor browser

Step 07:

After then you request for desired website e.g then as mentioned in figure 9 your request processed after passing through browser➔cube➔US➔ukraine➔internet09

While as we fix the entry and exit node of network relay so if you refresh or changed the network path then your entry and exit node from browser to internet will be same while central node changed  browsercubedenmarkukraineinternet as shown in figure 10.
